Project Description

Invisible AI is an AI assistant without an interface. The idea is to create an assistant that quietly works in the background, helping with tasks across different apps and contexts without the user having to click buttons or talk to a chatbot. Instead of a visible UI, the system tries to understand what the user is doing and proactively offer help, automate repetitive steps, and surface the right information at the right moment. The goal is to explore what an “invisible” assistant could look like and how it might feel to have AI integrated directly into everyday workflows.

How it's Made

Invisible AI is built as a set of small services that plug into existing tools rather than a single big app. We use a browser-based extension and background scripts to observe context, send relevant data to an AI model, and then act on the results. The backend is a simple API layer that handles prompts, routing, and some light state management. We rely on common AI and web technologies to glue everything together, focusing on making the assistant feel responsive and unobtrusive rather than building a complex interface. Most of the work is in wiring up the logic so that the assistant can notice patterns and trigger helpful actions automatically.
